Job Seeking Questions
Do you have a legal problem, been convicted of a felony or have
other serious barriers to employment?
We have vocational counselors available to give you the personal
attention and advice you need. There are several programs that
might be of assistance to you that the vocational counselors
would be glad to explain to you.
The vocational counselors hold an orientation
every Wednesday from 1:30 to 3:00pm for people with legal
considerations. You can sign up at the Front Desk, or just walk in that
day. They will go over filling out applications, how to handle tough
interview questions, discuss the federal bonding program, explain the
tax credits available, and answer other questions. At the end of the
orientation you will have the option to be scheduled for a one on one
consultation where they will attempt to answer your specific details
and questions.
