Job Seeking Questions
Do you need to improve your skills or gain new ones to improve
your job opportunities?
We can provide you with information on schools that will help
you retrain or add to your skills. Some services are subject
to eligibility requirements. If you have been laid off from a
job or are a member of a family with limited income, you may
be eligible for tuition assistance and other skill development
services such as help with getting your GED.
We also have many workshops available to all job seekers on
a monthly basis. Workshop subjects include:
- word processing
- internet searching
- career exploration
- understanding coworkers
- choosing work based on your personality
- financial advice
- first impressions on the job
- how to get along--move up the ladder.
