Do you need to upgrade the skills of your current employees?
The Missouri Customized Training Program provides assistance
to Missouri businesses for the training and retraining of new
and existing employees. Training costs such as instructors’ salaries,
curriculum development, training materials and vendor training
are included in the funding. Eligible businesses include those
creating new jobs or those retraining existing employees as a
result of a substantial new capital investment. Other eligibility
criteria apply. Projects are operated by local educational agencies.

Another similar program for training of employees is the Missouri Community
College New Jobs Training Program. Businesses with a sound
credit rating currently located in or locating to Missouri engaged in interstate
or intrastate
commerce in the areas of manufacturing, processing or assembling
products as well as businesses that conduct research and development or
provide
services in interstate commerce may be eligible. Once again,
the projects are operated by local community colleges. For more information
