Welcome! The
Ozark Region Missouri Career Center is a full service
One-Stop Center for your employment and re-employment needs.
We are part of the Ozark Region Workforce Investment Board. The
Ozark Region is comprised of Polk, Dallas, Greene, Webster, Christian,
Stone and Taney counties in Southwest Missouri.
With locations in
both Springfield and Branson, Missouri our Centers provide an
array of services to our customers, both job seekers and businesses.
We fully understand that there is a need in our communities to
provide a Center in which our customers come to get questions
answered. Whether you need to look for work or find employees,
we have a network of partners that will facilitate the process
and answer your questions.
We also have access
points through the ShareNetwork at www.sharenetworkmo.org at
the Marshfield and Seymour public libraries and the Christian
Associates of Table Rock Lake in Kimberling City, where we have
provided computers to access both the GreatHires database of
jobs as well as the ShareNetwork for supportive services through
faith-based and community organizations.
We can assist job
seekers with job search, labor market trends, direct placement,
job clubs, and various types of training. Not to mention, we
have a variety of partners that offer additional intensive programs
and services. Whether you are self-sufficient or require intensive
services, we are here to assist.
For our business
customers, whether you need qualified job seekers, tax credits,
or a location to host a targeted recruitment event, we are also

2006-2007 GOALS:
Generate new and
increase sources of revenue to expand the capacity of the system
to develop the workforce.
Be the premier one-stop
system in the State.
Ensure staff, board,
and community are knowledgeable about workforce issues and what
each brings to the table to resolve those issues.
Provide an "economic
value-add" to the economy of the Ozark Region.
